Clinic - Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

MedCare Pediatric Group is looking for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing team to provide, evaluate, and implement speech therapy services to pediatric clients. Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school program of Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - new grads are welcome to apply!
• Licensed to practice as an Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Texas by anticipated start date
• Experience in pediatrics and bilingual are a plus but necessarily required

Job Duties:

• Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric clients with communication disorders
• Identify functional speech defects and establishes a plan of care to improve patient’s function
• Implement programs to promote the development of communication skills
