DESCRIPTION
The Social Copywriter role will craft compelling and impactful brand messaging, product stories, and campaign narratives to engage customers globally across various social channels including LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube, etc. This role is responsible for creating sharp, engaging social copy that consistently expresses the AWS brand's tone, voice, and personality. This role will involve shaping and expanding how the AWS voice resonates on social media and online platforms, while staying true to the brand, channels, and target audiences. This position requires a self-starter with strong organizational skills, a drive for delivering top-notch creative work, acute attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced development environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop compelling and impactful brand, product, and campaign messaging to tell stories about AWS that inform and inspire customers across social media platforms, campaign and product landing pages.
- Apply a clear, differentiated, and scalable voice and tone for AWS across channels, aligned with AWS brand guidelines.
- Understand and thrive in the digital social space, recognizing the nuances of different channels and the type of copy and content that resonates best with customers.
- Create and maintain scalable brand copy guidelines to enable business partners to self-service copy whenever possible.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from briefing and initial concept, completing copy variations and decks on time while consistently raising the standard of our written tone.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
