POSITION : Mechanical Integration-Rigging
STATUS : Full-Time, Non- Exempt

JOB SUMMARY: This is an essential role in the Mechanical Integration Rigging position is the movement of heavy machinery and placement of product within the yard for work teams to engage in the assembly of generator units. This position requires high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with all teams, while ensuring safety guidelines are followed. While this will be the primary focus of this position in high volume times, there will be opportunity to rotate in other roles on the Integration team such as Engine preparation, Tank preparation, and Finish. FOCUS RESPONSIBILITIES: - Prepare shackles on the house for lifting with chains or straps.
- Operate lifts for access to roofs, with harnesses.
- Helping load completed units on transport trucks using correct rigging and choke on chains.
- Communication with Crane Operator at all times.
- Safety awareness, following and ensuring guidelines are upheld.
- ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaboration with others when adjustments to installation or preparation plans are needed.
- Install generator and fuel related components such as CCV’s, air tubes, air breathers/heat shields, shunt lines, coolant piping, fuel polisher, dosing system, urea supply system, urea tank, urea tank insulation.
- Install exhaust flexes.
- Install CCV- crank case ventilation lines.
- Install fuel return lines.
- Drain Lines for oil/water/air compressor.
REQUIREMENTS: - High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Prior experience with rigging and crane operations
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
- Familiar with reading blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail with an even stronger work ethic.
- Effective time management skills who can also adapt to quickly changing priorities.
- Must wear PPE such as protective eyewear, hearing protection, etc.
- Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to always ensure a safe workplace.
- Have reliable attendance, be respectful and responsible at work.
- SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong communication skills and awareness of others in movement
- Ability to work under pressure and keep calm.
- Ability to maintain a safe perimeter and signal crane operator.
- Skilled at driving a forklift.
- Good math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to perform work tasks with little or no supervision.
- Ability to push, pull and lift 50lbs.
- Ability to work in all-weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
