Job Description:
Private family office is seeking a hands-on, highly detailed, hospitality minded House Manager to oversee the daily household
operations, domestic staff, and overall management of their secondary home in Boston. The residence is incredibly fast paced,
housing many guests that runs more like a luxury hotel than a standard residence. This position requires someone who is detailoriented
with the ability to pivot into different roles/areas of service as needed and requested. Coordinating and working alongside
housekeepers is a must alongside with an above and beyond attitude.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and hospitality mindset, with a background in concierge support a
MAJOR PLUS. This position consists of a full-time schedule with overriding flexibility and availability to work extended hours as
needed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Managerial duties including organization and foresight of planning for and in response to family needs, operating as the
central point of coordination between family office, housekeepers, principals and guests
• Oversee all vendors and special projects providing seamless communication with the family office
• Assist in administrative tasks including correspondence, errands, etc. as needed
• Shop for household items and run errands when needed
• Steward duties incorporating knowledge of service with comfort and flexibility in style, liaising with principals and staff for
preparation and attendance coordinating and assisting with arrival and departure logistics and execution
• Pack and unpack principals clothing efficiently before or after any travel
• Ensure easy transitions between residences for both family and staff
• Provide personal and concierge service to family and guests
• Tracking and organizing household inventory, pantries, personal items, etc.
