Western Arizona Regional Medical Center is your community healthcare provider, a 139-bed acute care facility offering the residents of the greater Bullhead City community inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic imaging, Dialysis, medical, surgical and emergency services. As a Registered Nurse, job duties range from but are not limited too:

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.


• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.


• Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.


• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.


• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.


• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.


• Ensures that Western Arizona Regional Medical Center's values are reflected in all aspects of the department's operation. Participation in a rotating call schedule is required.


• Participation in a rotating call schedule is required.


• May be cross trained and floated to ICU as needed.


• Performs a variety of tasks.

Requirements:

• License: Active Valid RN License


• Schedule: Flexibility to cover shifts

Preferences:

• Experience: 1 year as RN in dialysis


• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
