Typical Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 6 am-7 pm, limited Saturdays, and never a Sunday!

Position: CDL Truck Driver | Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safe Operation: Operate trucks safely to pick up, transport, and deliver equipment and materials such as aggregate, hot mix, asphalt, or dirt.
• Load Security: Secure loads for safe transport in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with other crew members during pickup and delivery to ensure coordinated efforts and safety.
• Loading/Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Inspections: Perform pre and post-trip inspections and ensure the truck is clean and in safe working order.
• Documentation: Complete necessary documentation for inspections, prorate, and other compliance needs.
• Reporting: Report maintenance or repair needs to dispatch and the One Call System.
• Jobsite Safety: Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and safety at the job site.
• Adherence to Instructions: Follow the Supervisor's instructions closely.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• License Requirements: CDL Drivers and operators must hold a valid CDL driver license. CDL Drivers work as part of a crew and may sometimes operate equipment or provide general labor.
• Experience: Previous experience with Tri-Dump trucks or Tractor-Trailers.
• Health Requirements: Current DOT Health Card.
• Safety Compliance: Understand and adhere to all safety regulations and Personal Protection Equipment requirements.
• Safety Focus: Maintain an unwavering focus on safety.
• Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa, and Eastern Dakotas.
• Communication Skills: The ability to speak and communicate in English is required.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Physical Activity: Ability to walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch, and sit.
• Weather Conditions: Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Lifting: Handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Extended Hours: Regularly work extended/overtime hours outdoors and in various weather conditions across all project locations.
• Travel Requirements: Travel is required. Southwestern, MN, Watertown, SD, and northern IA.
