Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering and Sales Administrator to join our team at Ashland Hills Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of catering and sales events, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the success of each event.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in catering and sales or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field.
  • Experience with event planning software.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service and presentation.
  • Experience in a hotel or resort setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute all aspects of catering and sales events, including menu planning, room setup, and audiovisual needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure that their needs and expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure that events run smoothly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all events, including contracts, invoices, and payments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and guests, ensuring that their experience at Ashland Springs Hotel is memorable and enjoyable.

Skills:

As a Catering and Sales Administrator, you will use your excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure that events run smoothly and efficiently. Your strong communication and customer service skills will be essential in working with clients to understand their needs and expectations. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure that events are executed flawlessly, and you will maintain accurate records of all events. Your knowledge of food and beverage service and presentation will be used to create memorable experiences for our guests. Finally, your ability to work collaboratively with other departments will be essential in ensuring the success of each event.
