Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.The work model for the role is: hybridThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division.You will be mainly accountable for:â
- Performing entry level field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performs analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.â
- Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.â
- Executing work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensuring the job is done on time and as per quality standards.â
- Troubleshooting simple equipment failures and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications For The Role - An Associated degree or at least 2 years of experience in Distributed control systems is required.
- Aptitude and Attitude to learn quickly. Formal and on the job training will be provided.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to travel to mostly within south Louisiana for a week at a time.
- Travel to other parts of US may be needed infrequently.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
